Hey everyone, wondering if anyone around these parts has a tablet. I've been looking into the Asus Eee Pad Transformer thanks to its great price and good reviews. I considered the ipad for around 5 minutes, but eh it's really way too expensive, and has a worse battery. If anyone has this tablet I'd love to hear what they think about it, and if they have the keyboard attachment. A member of my family needs a new computer but it seems that a tablet like the transformer would be perfect for their needs, I'm just not entirely sure if the tablet can replace a full time pc for web + email.

I'm also looking for a Tablet. I been thinking about getting the Acer Iconia, or BlackBerry Playbook. I most likely get the Acer Iconia Tablet because of its cheaper price tag and 10" screen.

I think a Motorola Xoom and the Official Motorola Xoom Keyboard might be a good choice.

The Xoom also has support for a Bluetooth Mouse.

I've had a dell laptop, I'm used to terrible support. I'd rather troubleshoot on my own but still a relevent point.

Don't get an Asus. Terrible support.
Terrible support for you maybe, but from my own experience they have given great support. I hate how people think just case they had a bad experience with a support team it just sucks... News flash you are not the only person using their support ....

Good to hear that NBK*Twitch, might wait until the prices start dropping for black friday.

There most likely be "back to school/work" sales for Tablets as well. I would probably get a Tablet during August 25th-Sept. 3 if there are any good back to school sales on Tablets.

ASUS doesn't need support. LOL

ASUS is the bomb.

ASUS a MoBo company, who better to make Notebooks and Tablets.
