Looking to expand my genre

So as it stands the board I own GFX Shack isn't really getting a whole lot of traffic probably either a) I can't get a whole lot of people to be active in graphics or b) my forum category is a tad bit too niche or c) i'm not advertising correctly. I'm thinking of expanding my board genre to webmaster/skin/theme/forum resources and such.

I think it's a good move. Do you think so?

I think that's a good way to go. A lot of webmasters actually do graphics as well so I think it will help you in the long run. Just my opinion though 🙂

You could certainly expand your forum niche a bit. How about a forum targeting design and development? So that would include graphics, html/css, web programming, other programming languages, game development, software development etc. Obviously the main focus would be on the design...

Well I wanna do that but I kinda want to deviate from graphics being the main category and make it a subcategory
and make it mainly about website/forum design

I think that would work too. Website/Forum Design is very popular as of lately.

Are you personally skilled in these areas? From your fantastically designed signature, I assume that you are very skilled at graphic design.
