Loose chickens in the yard

We live in the suburbs and our vilage is not crowded. There are trees almost everywhere and so many birds. However, there are also loose chickens and ducks. I don't want to complain but those roosters wakes us up with the crowing in the early morning. And since there are lots of chickens here, you can imagine the cacophony they make. But in fairness, those loose chickens are nice to look at because I get a feeling that we are in a farm. And sometimes, the neighbors who own those chicken give us some chicken dishes once in a while.

We live out in the country and some of our neighbours have chickens. Somewhere between 20 and 30 of them, and they let them run wild on their property, but they're good about not coming out onto the road or anything.

I grew up with yard chickens. I do agree that they can be annoying to have around. Have you thought about thinning the population a tad, if you're able to?

Omg, there are stray roosters at my house every single morning. I don't know where they are coming from but sometimes they bring a hen too. They're so cute.

My neighbors also have roosters & chickens. I hate it! All the noise and none of the reward for me.
