I have a good 15 loyal members that will be on every day. They treat it as a second home and a place just to chill out and talk with friends they have grown close to.

Yeah, unfortunately not many people log in a day on my forum. Even after emails and stuff. Number remains about 40 a day which is pretty low. However, the 15 dedicated posters make up for this so I'm hoping that next month when Futurama returns, I get new and active members that will stick around.

I have a few. Regardless of forums, they're always nice people and such.
I have around 14 myself. I don't really award them anything. I just chat with them on the forums and on IM. I generally appreciate their opinions more than people that aren't on as often though. So if they want to organise a contest or something, I'll support them.

That sounds like on my forum. We got at least one regular that comes on and posts, otherwise it's all staff and VIPs. But like theezy, as long as there's someone on just enough to keep the place going, that's all that matters.

I used to have one dedicated member on NFF, but his computer crashed so now I don't have any active members. One day I hope for the breakthrough where I have about 5 to 10 active members all the time -- I'd be satisfied with that. 🙂

I have a couple of loyal members who came from my video site when they saw the announcement that I was going to setup a forums. Since they like my sense of humor they clicked that link and started posting. It's been ~2 weeks online and one of them already passed me by in post count and it's my freakin' site!
If that's not loyal I dunno what is. Glad to have them around and plan on implementing a points system soon so the heavy contributors can get something out of it whether it is free merchandise or whatever from my main sites, or additional features, private forums, who knows. I'll figure something out to sweeten the pot for the regulars they deserve it!
