This band, politically, was misunderstood I think, and the music was hijacked by people who didn't represent them. Anyhow, though, they had some great music and I've always wondered why there are no movies about them, not even a documentary.

Anyway, some classics are Working for MCA, I Need You (I think that's the name), Call me the Breeze, Sweet Home Alabama (probably even people outside the US have heard that one), Tuesday's Gone.

These guys are on their farewell tour this year. I really want to go see them. Love this band. Simple Man is my favorite by them.

Those are OK, but overplayed. Some underplayed gems are Call me the Breeze, I Need You, and Working for MCA.

Lynard Skynard is great, I'd love to see a show before they go. Who doesn't love Freebird, sweet home Alabama, simple man, etc.?! 😛

You know I used to really enjoy most of their music. But songs like Sweet Home Alabama is so overplayed, and I don't like the song anymore because of it. Same with Free Bird honestly and Simple Man. My favorite song from them is That Smell, that song is rarely played thankfully. My other favorite from them is I Need You.
