Mac or Vista?

I don't like Vista personally.. but I'm sure it's better than Mac.

I never bothered to upgrade to it. I've had this computer since 2005 and I am replacing it in a few months when Windows 7 comes out.

Mac for me. I actually haven't tried Vista, but I've heard poor things about it. I still like XP, but it (like ever other Windows thing I've ever had) has given me heaps of trouble with viruses and bugs. Yes, Macs can still get viruses, but they generally only appear in pirated software. You're pretty safe with them if you avoid those kinds of places, for the time being.

Oh, I also run Windows on Mac for games. That's all I'll use Windows for though. =/

If I had to choose then I would take better Vista, because the new Leopard on Mac is worst.
It's not only very expensive, but there are also not much games supported and nearly no free software for it. It might be good for designers only. Safari is a very fast browser of course.
To round it up, Mac OS can't be counted very secure. So I wouldn't use it at all, because security matters.

Where's your evidence of this? Macs are just as secure/insecure as Windows, but due to the small amount of people using them, there aren't as many malware programs or hackers trying to access them.

There are (free) security programs for Mac as well. -roll- They're also not that hard to find.

I like Vista better. The only dispute I have with it is that it takes up a good amount of HDD space. Other than that, I like Vista and XP. ~smile~

yeah. macs get way less virus than macs. and software is cheaper because there is freeware for everything you need and more. and a lot of software you have to pay for comes free with macs

Vista is awful, really dire. Unstable, heavy on resources, I hated it. 7 is gorgeous though, but the Mac is the best. I does take some getting used to, it's completely different than most Windows.

Between those? Mac. Vista WAS AWEFUL. Windows 7 is better though.
