What is the best for the money MacBook I can get? What is the difference between Pro and Air?

I need something with more than 2 gigs of RAM and under $1,000. Never have much time to go online. Help me out if you can 🙂 +Rep

How about the 11 inch MacBook Air model?
Or try eBay for a MacBook Pro deal? 🙂
MacBook Air is super light and super portable.
I have one and I'd definitely recommend for portability.
It also has 4gb of ram so you can't go wrong with it. 🙂
Price is under $1000 I believe.
MacBook Pro second hand for under $1000.
Or brand new, if you're lucky, on eBay. 😉
But new from apple is over $1000 I'm afraid.

Pro has bigger screen and is designed for professionals.
Better processor, better graphics, better everything. 😀
But that's not degrading the air when I say that though.
The air may be a low end mac, but it's a high end PC. 😉

If you are shopping on that kind of budget, I wouldn't get a MacBook. I like MacBooks, but not the low end.
