If they are living in a city, then they should relocate to an area where the cost of living is lower. They could stretch their dollar a lot more. I have a friend who has been a mail carrier for a long time and she delivers in the suburbs and has excellent health insurance. She loves her job.

I think it's terrible how these mail carriers are treated. Sounds a lot like how Amazon drivers are treated, these big corporations are going to run themselves down if they continue to make employees work in harsh conditions. Also I think the carriers should be making more since they're the ones busting their butts off in terrible conditions to give people their mail. I always heard growing up that a job at the post office was a good one, you'd be set for life but sadly it isn't the case currently and I hope soon they can start making more money soon.

UK is the same, they work almost 12 hours shift with so many driving hours to do other jobs. they get aid based on how many they get done

If you ask me, I think they should all try to get on at Fed-Ex instead. They have way better pay and benefits.
