Nearly half the members registered are active on the forums, which is quite good because some people just register and don’t post and most of them have made 10+ posts.

There is a decent amount of posts made on the forum considering the size and with the amount of forums that there are, but there could be more topics and posts being made with the amount of active members that there are on main anime.

The 1st thing I saw on the forums was the shout box on the portal, and it is on
every page I would just make it visible on the index page of the forums because it is quite distracting and also makes all the other pages load slower because of the shoutbox, also the movie clip on the portal is quite distracting at the top of the page, I would move it down the page so the content and navigation is the 1st think guests see when the visit your forum, this would also give it more of a professional look, maybe changing the default style to a darker theme as most anime forums generally have a darker theme. When I got to the index I did like all the forums you had, especially how you have categorized anime films in alphabetical order (that’s the 1st like I saw and thought that was very good).

You have a nice layout to the forums you have done very well, and there is not too many forums either, the banner on the default style doesn’t quite fit, there is a small gap at either end of the logo.
Moderation:(marked out of 10)

The moderation on the site is fairly good, I noticed that there is not loads of moderators on the forums which is good, you only have Moderators which are needed to keep the forums well moderated.
Activity:(marked out of 10)

There is a good amount of activity, but with 50 active members there should be more activity.
spelling and grammar(marked out of 10) 9/10
The spelling and grammar on the site is fairly good as most people speak in real English and not slang or txt speak.

With the few changes I mentioned this could be a great forum, it has the potential to be one of the biggest forums about anime, and maybe doing a search on the competition would help also.
