Making a Internet Browser

I decided to make a internet browser because I started making one just to learn Visual Basics. :lol: I already got the basics setup for it so I wanted to see what you all thought. The TabControls work already so you can have more than 1 tab I also got the homepage setting to work just not the 'Home' button to send you to your homepage. But other than that everything else works.

Yah it isn't fancy like the others but I am open for suggestions. I still got alot of work to do because it can't even read .js files and has loads of errors and bugs. But it is decent for a internet browser.
 
Very nice for just starting out, i know i couldnt even make one button in vb lol does it actually surf the web?
 
Nice would you upload somewhere and send it to me? I'll give it some testing and I'll provide more feedback.
 
It says I need .Net framework but I tried installing it and it says I already installed on my operating system.
 
Works great! Very fast and light weight! Continue work on it and I'd surely use it! Great job!

Visual Basic 2010 Express

I made this post with this internet browser I made. I still need to fix some bugs in it. It seems to have typing issues when posting.

The Visual Basic 2010 Express all it does is add all the basic layout for your application and then you got to code the rest in for them to work. Like the buttons, etc.
 
Are you just using an internet browser control lol? There's no way you have an internet browser that's only 29KB.

It is a VB project, it is missing all the key components of a regular browser, thus why it is so small. It is a raw URL bar and web browser imaging.

Thats why I said it isn't finished. :lol: I will let you all know once I get the rest of the stuff added to it that makes it much better than what it is now.
 
Looks cool so far 🙂 What features will you be adding to it? And have you came up with a name for it?

I have only thought of a few features myself but I have not came up with many.. I have not thought up of a name for it so it would be helpful if you guys could suggest some features for it and maybe a name for my browser.

Adding a 'find' tool would be awesome, its something i use often.
