Making Money by Freelance Writing on the Internet

So, some of us make money by just doing the things we like.... some of us design, some of us code, some of us offer services, and some of us write.

I personally freelance write articles at Constant Content, and I have had pretty good luck there. You can write articles there and sell them at your own prices. I have only just started and I've earned about $15 or $20 (and that is just today).

For those of you who write to earn money, where do you do it?

For me, I looked at GetaFreeLancer, to look at some coding work, but decided to further my skills before I put myself up for hire. Just wanted to know, what do you write about?

I'm a free-lance web-web developer, so i develop websites, sell them off for a price, i also do services. 🙂

To be honest, I write about anything I feel like. I have done something about cell phones, as well as history of video gaming, and even hardcore reviews. Once I have a portfolio, i will post it.

I got to learn coding sometime 😛

I've been thinking about this for awhile but I put it on the back burner as I've been focusing on my forum now. I'm gonna try to do it soon though - I need money since I'm a poor college student anyways 😛

How much do you get paid per article approximately? And how many words?

It completely depends on (1) if you are filling a writing request, or (2) if you are filling your own. I just sold a 547 word article for $16.99 to someone for unique usage (they are the only ones to use it now). I also have a 1,170 word article on sale after it gets approved, where I am looking for $29.99 for usage, $69.99 for unique usage, and $99.99 for full rights.

I think that people are paying WAY over the odds for these articles... you can get a book with that many pages for less. :lol:

You can either pick a topic you can write on (example: things that you are interested in), or fill out requests depending on what the person wants.
