Hi.

I have just found out that my forum is being blocked by Malwarebytes Antimalware Security software.(which is quite ironic as we offer a malware removal service and often recommend MBAM)

They have recently included an IP blocker with their software that is blocking sites that are using website hosts that also host sites that are known to cause problems.

This means that large ranges of IP addreses are being blocked even if the sites themselves are perfectly safe and legitimate.

Has anyone else had problems with MBAM blocking their site?

I receive quite a lot of MalWare warnings on Google Chrome when I'm browsing the web. I didn't get any when visiting your site http://www.tnthelpforum.com/.

Have you considered contacting Malwarebytes Antimalware Security, and explaining your case for being removed from their ban?

How did you find out about this?

You shouldn't get any warnings about my site. We are 100% clean. 😉

I found out about it from one of my members who is using the paid version of MBAM.

I have spoken to Malwarebytes and their attitude is that I should complain to my host.

They said that they will not unblock the IP until the host starts to act on abuse reports about the 'rogue' sites that share the IPs.

We are going to upgrade to a virtual dedicated server this weekend and that will give us 3 dedicated IPs, so that should solve the problem.

More money to pay out.

Hope our members appreciate it and start hitting the 'donate' button.
