I use it to sweep my PC whenever it begins to get a little system hiccup here and there. When I download some programs to use I forget to check "no" on trying out a toolbar or something. Once it gets installed - it starts to cause my chrome browser to load pages somewhat slower. So I delete the toolbar from the programs list - but it leaves behind a few plugins and junk. So I run malware bytes and at the end of the scan - I totally terminate any leftover debris.
Is this malwarebytes the application to cleanse the computer of malwares? I remember my colleague installing a software against malware. But our office had a memo against it so my colleague had to uninstall it from the laptop which is my official computer. The memo stated that the anti malware software interferes with the efficiency of the operating system.
It can slow down your system depending on your overall PC speed. It doesn't slow down mine but to prevent bloat - I normally install it to do a scan. After the scan is done and the results come back - and I remove any junk I need to, I normally uninstall Malware bytes until I need to use it again.
