Malwares are mostly in porn sites

I have just read a news article in the technical section of a major daily. It is about malwares. And the sites inhabited by malwares are the porn sites. It was not clear if the malwares are intentionally attached in those porn sites or if there are vigilantes attaching the malwares to discourage visitors of such sites. I once checked on a free download of a software and my anti-virus alerted me of a possible attack so I immediately exited. Have you experienced going to a site that has a malware?

I own a CyberSecurity company and so I deal with this on a regular basis. Porn sites do have a lot of malware, but it's because of free porn sites need a way of revenue, because they can't use Google Adsense or regular advertisers. A lot of malware (specifically ransomware) comes through email, so be careful when you open emails.
