This thread is all about this season... About Man Utd winning the title , how much has been spent on players, you said about liverpool not being a success when actually they are one of the most successful teams in the country.

When you said that Liverpool had no success you must have meant recently as in the past they have been successful and to which i replied with Everton are not a success as what did they win this year which this thread has been about... Nothing hence not a success then you brought up things from 100+ years ago. No one said we were talking about recent but this thread is all about recent and by saying Liverpool weren't a success i assumed it must be about the last season or 2 considering they are one of the most successful teams in the country if not the most successful. Everton is not a success compared to Liverpool.

Everton have a better history than Liverpool since when did winning trophy's mean you have better history. I say liverpool because the thread was about TITLE contenders as Man Utd won the title but you had to bring Everton into it. Liverpool have spent 77m on new players this year set out to win the title and what have they won? Nothing. Whereas Everton set out to challenge the top 4, spend only 27m and finish one place behind them.

Do you think the likes of Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard want to be getting 4th place every year?

I also did not say Liverpool was not successful, they are more successful than any other English club trophy wise.

My comment about Everton not being a success was because they finished behind Liverpool this season and as i thought that was what we were talking about (being recent). The whole reason i brought Everton into it was that you don't like Liverpool and you said they haven't had success when actually they had a better season then Everton and if we take your view of this discussion they have had more success in their history too. I don't even see where your point is even if we go into the history of the clubs like you did as Liverpool's will be longer meaning a more successful club compared to Everton so i don't know why you are getting the angry over it considering this season and in the history Liverpool has been more of a success.

Anyway i am going to leave this now as it is starting to go a bit too far now as i have explained myself however if you still think Everton has had more success then Liverpool then so be it and i can't be bothered to convert your biased view against your city rivals.

I brought history into because I thought you said we have never had success. History is just about how many trophy's you have won.

Really there season has been a failure really, they set out to win the premiership and are battling with us for 4th, doesn't sound like they achieved anything from there season. We would have finished higher, if there wasn't so many refeering mistakes this year. It happens to every team but it is strange the way this year we have had so many goals ruled out for nothing, and don't have a pen until the last game inside the last 10 minutes of the game. There is a huge reason for video technology. Going back to the season, are season we achieved what we targeted. We challenged the top 4 (we was 4th most of the season) and we finished were we wanted.

I take football seriously so obviously I am going to argue about it.

You cannot blame the ref totally though, he did make a couple of bad decisions. Chelsea may have won it if they started the season off better. Man United won fair and square though and I am happy they won it instead of chelsea.

Also at the end of the season everything is equal as every team has had games where the decisions went against them and they all had games where the decisions went for them. Ref's aren't right all the time as they can't see everything as efc knows being a ref himself. I can remember numerous times where i thought Chelsea were lucky to get decisions in their favour -😉-
