What are your thoughts on managers being brought in and then being sacked a couple of months later?

Yeah same.

How is a club supposed to build for the future if they are changing their manager all the time? I could understand if the chairman has gave them an unlimited amount of money to spend and they just fail after the first couple of months. As soon as a manager goes a couple of games without a win now their position is under threat.

Clubs like Everton and Villa have good chairmen and have given their managers time to improve the squad and it has paid off for both clubs.

I definitely agree with all that you've said, a prime example of a manager not getting a chance is Paul Ince. He should be given more of a chance, he's getting scrutinised because his team lost to Liverpool? Sometimes things don't go your way in football but you have to have faith and if things continue to go badly then the manager should be sacked. Saying this, I want Westley (the Stevenage manager) out and he's been at the club since only June. However, Stevenage play shit football and he had a whole summer to bring players in.

I think at the minute Paul Ince is being treated a bit unfairly. I don't actually know what is going on at Blackburn though because I am not 100% sure if the board actually said anything to Ince. I do know that Ince was offended when he was listening to radio stations and reading things on forums etc what Blackburn fans think of him, I think that made him a bit paranoid about his future.

This is bad, but managers who have gotten the team to 4th, but got knocked out of a cup, or just did really well in a season but didnt win any trophies, that get sacked, is worse, really annoys me

Yeah I honestly think they should be given more time. You know with a new team sometimes you don't know who plays what, how someone plays, so you need to give the coach some time to learn how each player plays.

How football is today mainly being about the owners managers dont stand a chance

It might have actually been the right move. With the January transfer window coming up, and bearing in mind how crap his signings were in August (albeit Robinson) and the crap results, he was always going to be sacked, it was a case of when. I agree with what people are saying- it was too big a jump for him from winning league 2 to managing a team that finished 7th last campaign in the premier league.

I thought Ince should have been given until at least Feb, to be able to get some players of his own in.

Although i think Big Sam is a much better manager and should do well.
