The government sent me this letter through the post today. What do you think about mandatory market research, without incentive? Do you think it's right that the government threatens its citizens with a fine if there is no completion?

The government sent me this letter through the post today. What do you think about mandatory market research, without incentive? Do you think it's right that the government threatens its citizens with a fine if there is no completion?

I think it's pretty good. Helps keep public funding and services properly running/maintained and is quite essential really. I think only about 200 people ever get convicted and fined for not doing the census, and I know they normally harass you quite severely to do it, instead of issuing a straight up fine.
