Basically, a while ago I purchase JamieDabrowiecki.com (that's my name) as I wanted to use it for uploading GFX etc, but I couldn't do anything with it as I hate cPanel. I've found out I can map it to WordPress for $12 a year, do you think it's worth it? How many images will I be able to upload? I probably won't blog too much either.

What do you mean by "map it to wordpress"?
Basically just using my pre-purchased domain on their site, so linking the two. When you sign up to WordPress, you have 3 options:
1. have their free version (in my case - www.JamieDabrowiecki.wordpress.com)
2. pay them to register a domain (in my case I would have to choose something other that JamieDabrowiecki.com as I've already bought it)
3. use a pre-registered domain and pay them to use it (in my case - www.JamieDabrowiecki.com)

Oh I see, you're using a wordpress host, not the actual wordpress software. If you go with a free web host to host your forum, you can usually add on multiple domains. You can then add on a domain for your wordpress and host it yourself. There's no reason they need to charge for you to use your domain with them.

What I would suggest is HostGator webhosting, it's like $5 per month. You can then host both your forum and wordpress blog. If you put Google AdSense on it, you can probably easily make 5+ times that in ad revenue per month. If you use this coupon I posted for HostGator, you will get 25% off.

I don't want a forum or a blog, just somewhere to upload GFX.

There are tons of photo gallery scripts out there. I'm not sure what specifically you are looking for? Or do you need just an image host to host your images?
