It's a little hard to tell from the site that it's Mario Kart related. Perhaps you could put some Mario pictures on it, or something to at least hint that it's an MKW site without actually needing to read the forum descriptions?

Also, I sadly don't expect this to kick off well, particularly with sites like http://www.mariokartwii.com which essentially provide the same service, but with a much bigger community. But hey, there's nothing wrong with a challenge.
