On Friday the 24th of September (Sat. the 25th for the Australia/New Zealand area), The Common network is hosting a Mario Kart Wii Tournament. The events will start at the following times (based on time zone):
1 PM NZST
11 AM AEST
9 PM EDT
8 PM Central
7 PM Mountain
6 PM Pacific
(if we're missing your time zone, let us know).
Communication is being provided by Nintendo Realms through their IRC channel:
irc://irc.infinityirc.com/nintendorealms
If you don't wish to use a downloaded client for chatting you can use Mibbit or visit the Nintendo Realms Chat Page and make a nickname.
This is not meant to be a serious competition and we strongly discourage hackers. We're doing this to have fun, and we hope you can too 🙂

Note: For those wondering what "The Common" is a network of like-minded forums, including sites like Dashing, Unofficial Rock Band Forums, Brawl Domain, Nintendo Realms and others. If you're not a member from any of the sites, that's okay, you're still welcome to join in. Just check out the IRC channel and tell us you're from another forum but still want to participate. 🙂
