Down here in the south, we use Mason jars for everything! Candles to decorations to cups!

Does your family use these for anything cool/crafty? If so for what?

I remember when I was little, I used them and I poked holes in the lids for when I'd go catch lightening bugs. 🙂

I use mason jars as glasses/cups. I find them easier and cooler to drink out of.

That, and usually when we get a mason jar of some type it usually had something in it, so it's a win/win situation! 😀

I remember catching lightning bugs and putting them in jars too!

But other than that, I don't use them for anything. I do know they are becoming quite popular as far as home decor goes.

Speaking of lightning bugs, I just remembered we made mason jars as lights once as a project, nothing big since it was just as a little project with others in my 4-H but still it was really awesome and looked AMAZING.

We did that for my cousins wedding! It was sooo pretty! 😀

I generally don't use them much, because I have a bad habit of dropping things and Mason Jars break easily. 😛

I know right! It looks even cooler when you put little colored bulbs in there, eek it just heightens the effect even more. ^.^

YES! I actually went to a black and pink Batman themed wedding the night before my birthday and the girl did that with those also. There's so many cool and creative things you can do with them. 😛

I see mason jars used, but my family has never really used them for much. I remember we bought a tiny set of the small ones for when my dad was making salsa or something I think. 😵 been ages though.
