Nice video! 😉

To have it preview on here use the code: . I've done it for you for now. The link is easy to grab under any video-

Thanks! And ohh okay, thanks for that! Usually I just go for the URL itself in the web address bar. I tried the coding but it didn't work for me at the time.

I know a few people who have diabetes and have been in and out of the hospital because of it. 🙁

My mom has diabetes and so does her side of the family, but luckily they know how to handle it and it hasn't bothered them since. It's not as bad as most, so that's good. It's a really sucky disease and it's not something I would wish on most people. 😛 It sucks you got diagnosed, however I suppose on the bright side at least you know you have it and can handle it, it's not one of those things that just surprises you when it's too late. 😛

I can tell that this experience has really affected you. I applaud you for taking it seriously. Some people don't and they don't do anything to change their eating habits.

I haven't been diagnosed with diabetes because it has always been something that I've been terrified of getting. It runs in my family (my Mom has it and my Dad is borderline diabetic) so that's why I'm very diligent about seeing a doctor every year and try my best to be nutritionally responsible.

I've been getting into nutrition lately and may be able to help you if you're interested. Feel free to reach out to me if you like. Diabetes isn't a life sentence. Although it's true there is no cure for it but you can live a great quality of life if you make sure to do everything you can to manage it.

I don't blame you for being terrified. I will be sure to reach out to you soon even though my issue is being a picky eater. And LunarSouls, I imagine Diabetes could be one of those until its too late surprises if you happen to not visit the doctor all that much.

I don't have diabetes but my sister does. She has had problems with it especially the last time she had a baby, it almost killed her.

A lot of people are picky eaters for many reasons (texture, smell, or lack there of, etc) - eating the right foods can open up a whole new world for you (I know it did for me). I'm not going to lie the transition is not easy BUT if you want to live longer and feel better it's totally worth it. Feel free to get in touch with me via PM or Skype. :great:

I just noticed the thread. Hang in there, people! Diabetes is scary disease but not impossible to control. It does take a lot of strength and motivation, so don't be shy to reach out to family members or friends for support. Fight for your life! Thanks a lot for posting this. 🙂

My husband was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes at the age of 27. He's 31. It's not a joke and not something to play around with. It's very dangerous. I really wish he'd take it as serious as it is. His sugar levels have been as high as 500 and he'd still be up walking around like nothing was wrong. I've always got on to him about it but as of late, I seem to be doing it a lot more. Mainly because we have a daughter and he needs to be around for her.
