Your forum has 76 registered members which I think is quite poor bearing in mind that your forum has been open for exactly three months.
To get a bigger user base I would suggest doing the following
• Taking part in a member exchange
• Posting your link in your signature on forums that you visit
• Tell people about your forum and site. (word of mouth is the best way to get people registered to your forum)
• Submit your forum banner to the random banner ads.
I think doing the above would drastically improve your user base count.
Number Of Active Members: (5/10)
You have 30 active members with 10 posts or more I think this number is ok as that is almost half the registered users that are active on your forum. To improve the number of active members on your forums I would do the following
• Advertise your site on all the promotion Forum.
• Register on all the sites in This Thread and post your link in your signature
• Add more content on your forum to give users a reason to come back and want to make posts.
• Add a weekly or monthly contest and give away a small prize, that always get people on your forum as they can get something for posting on your forum.
• Email your members to remind them about your forum as some people just forget about your site.
I think if you incorporate a couple of my suggestions above you will start to see more members become more active.
Number Of Posts (Spam or Otherwise): (7/10)
Your forum has been up for three months and your users have posted over five thousand posts which I think is quite good as some forum achieve this amount after much longer and you have done well to achieve this many posts in such a short space of time.
To get more daily posts on your forums I would do the following
• Request a package at Forum promotion (I suggest package three as that will give you 5 topics and 55 posts on your forum)
• Request packages at all the promotional sites you find as this will get more members [posting on your forums and will encourage your other users to start posting more aswell.
• Take part in a post exchange with other sites to gain a bigger post count which will get your forum more active.
If you adhere to the suggestions I have made here I would see your forums become really active.
Appearance (First Impressions):(6/20)
When I first registered to the forum there was a few things I disliked about the appearance of your forum, I found it very off putting and they are;
• You have a banner over your other banner when you should of just replaced your old one and even if you couldn’t they are aligned all wrong. The logo is the 1st thing a user sees when they visit your forum, if it is not aligned properly people will think you are being lazy and won’t bother making any posts on your forum.
• The navigation looks horrable, you have too many links and because of this the links are no longer in the navigation menu and just sitting in the background, I think you should remove some unneeded links or place them some where else.
• The background of the forum looks wrong one half on the background is dark blue while the other half is light blue. This doesn’t look good.
I would recommend fixing all the above issues and I would expect your forum to be more active.
I do like
• I like all the forum icons you have placed representing all the forums, you have done well to get such good images for each forum.
• I think your forum logo looks great, it really fits your forum well.
Layout: (17/20)
I think the layout is great the only think I would change is that I would merge the help centre and the suggestion forums into one forum. I would also move the news forum to the top of the media forum.
Moderation: (6/10)
You have 3 Admins, 2 Global Moderators and 3 Moderators, I think tis is too much staff members for the amount of members you have, I think having 3 admins and 2 global moderators is enough on your forums.
Your forums look like they are well moderated.
Activity:(2/10)
I think the activity is quite poor on the forums, you have had 15 registered members login over the last 72 hours and for of those people were registered members. I think you need to email your members to remind them of your forums and send out a monthly newsletter to let people know when has been happening on your forums within the last monh.
Spelling and Grammar(7/10)
I think the spelling and grammar on the site is ok but I would suggest tightening up all the spelling and grammer thatyour saff uses and I think that could be improved.
Overall Mark: (52/100)
Your forum has received 52% which is quite a poor result, if you add some of the suggestions I have made I would expect you to receive a much higher percentage next time you request a review.
