Yes, it is very slow. Well, like I just made the topic [Not my fault :S] I actually like SMF but I see there is very few of them. Their Profile tab is quite good and the forum is light ^^
On free hosts smf is best as it is faster and i hate people who put scripts like vb and IPB on free hosts as they are slower on paid hosts and on slow free hosts it is even slower they they usually are. Your host does seem slower then alot of free hosts any. There are some faster hosts such as http://purejet.net/ which is run by a staff member here (Weirdpeople) and i have hard some good things about them and they seem fast.

I have been unable to move the SMF host. Well, doesn't matter much, there were very few post and no artworks. I now moved to NovaHost. Much faster. Mod added or more like portal, TinyPortal. And for my own opinion, I think it completely improves it!
Love the forum style, i would suggest getting some friends and family to put some posts on the board before you continue advertising it. Nobody likes the look of an empty forum, and it will stop guests from registering ~neutral~
I am a big fan of almost all Forum Softwares and I know for a fact that you got that style from DezinerStudio. That guy makes great skins, I have chatted with him once. Anyways great forum add some more posts and I am sure your site will be active in no time. Maybe create a logo from that default one as I am pretty sure that DezinerStudio gives out PSDs for their logos. ~wink~
