I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but Google is so large that even if something did go wrong, they'd restructure the company, provide bailouts, and etc. It wouldn't be shut down like that for the sake of thousands upon thousands of jobs, both directly and indirectly related to google.

No. I'm making valid assumptions based on valid historical evidence. And as for your "fact", you still haven't proven the correlation between good decisions and revenue.

The thing here put simply is, Megahost or whatever it was called was shut down by the federal government. Google has not. Why? Google hasn't violated federal laws, have their CEO flee, and then be arrested. End of story? I'd trust Google, a company with a reputation, history, employees, and a good track record, over a felon. I won't be giving him baby pictures any time soon 😛
That's how I see it, and why I highly doubt Mega will be here this time next year.
