Yeah, spam posts outside of spam forums are really annoying. I also don't like it when I may go on some exchange deal and the other person posts all over the forum games only and ignores completely the other forums even when I state that I don't want them to do that.

Also, flamers and trolls really annoy me, especially that one in a million person who's actually a racist (I've seen a couple of those in my forum life)

I meant members just posting one word such as welcome, hello or that's a good post.

Well, my personal take on that is that it's still spam, and it really bothers me either way. If one is going to post, at least make it several words long so he or she doesn't look like an eight year-old

I solved the problem by using a mod which won't let you make a post with less than a certain number of words or characters.

I have a member that speaks in 3rd person... all the time, since he registered. It used to bother me more, but now Ive gotten used to it. He's an excellent member, other than that

I hate when member's come, be at your forum for a week, spam and act like they are the best, ask for an Admin position, get rejected and leave, and then come back and do it over again.

For members to become staff on my forums there are several rules:

1. A staff application form must be filled in and returned.

2. The person must be a member for no less than 3 weeks and have xx number of posts within the forum.

I hate it when someone registers on your forum, grabs your IM username, and then whenever you get online, you see messages like "HELLLOOOO... ANYONE THERE? I WANT A POSITION ON YOUR FORUM PLEASE"... or sometimes you are just doing something important, and a random user on your forum pops up in AIM or MSN and says stuff like "Hey... let's discuss about stuff" when you really don't have the time to talk.

Posts with lower than 10 words (but depending on the topic, I don't mind if it's only a few words, like 'Currently Listening To" topics). Seriously, how can you debate a point, express your opinion or provide any kind of valid information in less than 10 posts? (I'm sure there are examples, but let's not go there, girlfriend)

Oh, and naturally 1337 is annoying as hell.

Yes, but there are times when you can get away with a low amount of words and sometimes word limits can become pretty annoying, even for me, when I usually post way above them.
