When I started FP, We didn't get 50,000 in the first year and look at us know? Just because after the first year you didn't have a high number of posts, it shouldn't mean you give up. Forums take work to get established. Members will signup and not post for various reasons. They could be spambots/spammers, they might signup and then decide not to bother using the site, they might be having issues with you site or forgot their login info and give up on your site. They are a million and one reasons why people sign up and not post and I am sure that there is not just 1 reason why people are not active. We have alot of users that signup and not post here. It happens on all forums. I have signed up and not posted on some forums for various reasons to.Spudster said:I know but 1 year with 2000 Posts? The first year is by far the hardest and you just need to work hard, promote as much as you can in as many ways as possible and post alot on the forum to get topics and discussions moving and give users a reason to keep coming back. I used to promote this forum near enough daily for years to get it where it is. Just because your forum is not big, doesn't mean that it won't be. You just need to be a bit patient and spend as much time as possible working on your forum.
