Members Join but then go inactive why??

Mybb has loads of good templates, i could point you in the right direction if you like 🙂

When I first started phpBB it was hard then I learned how to install mods. If you need help I'll be here. I know how to do them. Just please always make a back up before you install them. Also, before making a new back up make sure everything is clean of errors.

I will decide should i stay with Mybb or move the forum needs a good theme (thats why)
@ Shady Thanks i will take a look

I don't really know, you would have to contact Andraž Rihtar (the themes author) 🙂

g2g and The forums open take a look and tell me any improvments that can be made
Shady has a good point starting again wont make A Difference

I'd say use one of the styles Shady linked you to. Then, create a neat/professional logo.

If you use one of them styles and you get stuck for a logo, shoot me a pm and i will whip something up for you 😉

Okay, your site's not even loading for me for starters, and I'm on Google Chrome, also, as others have said, you seem to be pretty much running the site on your own. For a promotion forum, this is a big no-no. Especially if you plan on having packages and reviews, both of which you have. Also, from what I can recall, you don't really offer anything unique either. You offer the same services just about like everyone else has. This can get boring in a hurry.

I know but 1 year with 2000 Posts? Advertise Hotspot got 50,00 in a year i havent giving up on owning A Forum starting fresh may work out better

Whats a good open source software to start a Webmaster forum on
When I started FP, We didn't get 50,000 in the first year and look at us know? Just because after the first year you didn't have a high number of posts, it shouldn't mean you give up. Forums take work to get established. Members will signup and not post for various reasons. They could be spambots/spammers, they might signup and then decide not to bother using the site, they might be having issues with you site or forgot their login info and give up on your site. They are a million and one reasons why people sign up and not post and I am sure that there is not just 1 reason why people are not active. We have alot of users that signup and not post here. It happens on all forums. I have signed up and not posted on some forums for various reasons to.

The first year is by far the hardest and you just need to work hard, promote as much as you can in as many ways as possible and post alot on the forum to get topics and discussions moving and give users a reason to keep coming back. I used to promote this forum near enough daily for years to get it where it is. Just because your forum is not big, doesn't mean that it won't be. You just need to be a bit patient and spend as much time as possible working on your forum.

Well said, Fowler. Plus 2 there! CT is only going on ten months old and we're still struggling just to survive and make it work. Even I understand that it can take quite a while for a forum to get off the ground. You are not going to go from 100 members to 50,000 members in one night. Just doesn't work like that. You need to be dedicated and promote at every place possible. Request packages and reviews at other sites so that your site doesn't look inactive.

Thanks so I would say stay dedicated and keep working on the forum 2000 Messages and 80 members is ok for a year it use to be very active (back on forumotion) so im still trying to transfer the other members to our new host as for the host issue im thinking about buying a VPS explain why the forum is has noone loggedin if the forum is not even loading I have been getting error pages myself if anyone has any suggestions on how we can be more unique please add them here i have deicided not to give up and keep trying

we are Accepting staff here viewtopic.php?f=21&t=72185
