We all have memories. I have memories. You have memories. We all have memories. We all have unique memories. My memories are not the same memories as your memories. Some of us have shared memories. Our perceptions of those memories are likely different. Would they be shared memories then? Likely no, they would still be unique memories about a similar topic. This paragraph is filler text. See below for the discussion point.

FP has been around for a while. Let's all reminisce about our time on FP. What are your favorite memories? What do you miss most? How has FP changed over the years (aside from several owners)? What changes did you help implement? What would you have done differently? If you weren't staff ever, what are some things you remember? I've spent a significant amount of time here and I'd like to hear others' experiences. Please don't use this as a way to bash anyone. Be tactful. For those ex-staffers, keep confidential material, no matter how old it is, confidential.
 
Thre are also allot of bad memories that we all tend to try and forget. Yet we forget the good and not the bad. Isn't that weird?
 
I joined a little over a year ago so I only have accumulated a small amount of memories. Empire used to post a lot in my Ask Me Anything thread at the beginning and that made me feel welcomed here. One thing that made things awkward was when I came up with suggestions of new ideas and got them shot down immediately instead of even being considered. I have enjoyed meeting new forum/blog owners and getting to be a part of what they enjoy at their sites. I was surprised to be asked to join staff early on but it's been fun getting to know people better through our Discord staff meetings.
 
I’ll never forget like 90% of the staff team quitting all at once over some poor decisions that Nerdie had made. Also, we had lots of memes comparing Nerdie to Kim Jong-un. We were a wild bunch.
 
I have 11 years worth to remember which is pretty tricky to be fair. But I guess winning FOTM back in 2010 was pretty impressive, considering how young and inexperienced I was. 😛

I remember Fowler and Ste advertising this forum on free forums and thinking, “this will never take off”. I remember when I disbanded the Graphics Team as the last team leader for FP. Sadly I missed out on the years when Ste sold the site, all the way to Cameron.

Sometimes good, sometimes bad.
 
I remember I was CTM for over a month then I was kicked as FP had a major staff team changes. When Cameron became the new owner FP had allot of old members returned and old staff came back. I was removed from CTM right after. Anyway 2 to 3 weeks later some of staff left LOL

One of a few still floating who would remember those days! Back then the community team didn’t exist either.

I feel like a village elder telling stories to everyone about the village of old haha.
 
I miss applying for Moderators and staff roles than being rejected by former staff members.
