Mean doesn't mean they can pack a punch. I've met mean boys that couldn't bent a piece of butter if their life depended on it. I think you meant "strong"

The typical norm is men are supposed to fight, but it's OK if women do too - but not required. Is that fair? That's a topic for the Debate section.

I mean this as in combat or just life in general.

Women! I think I will leave this to the females to answer this one!!

Aren't many females members on FP

It's a very traditional mindset from many centuries ago where men often had to fight for survival, while women were weaker and less capable of doing so, hence got allocated different tasks.

But, this is the modern world, why are they fighting in the first place? We didn't get to our spot in the world due to fighting their way through everything, but because of our wisdom and intelligence, in contrast to all the other animals.

Are you stronger than a tiger because you can wrestle with it? Or because you can kill it with a gun which your brethren created?

Women fighters in boxing and mixed martials are getting a headway in terms of popularity. Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was the biggest draw in the league before she lost her belt to Holly Holm. It's not the glamour but the style of fighting that can be likened to male fighting. Just recently, 2 women boxers won their fight in a brutal fashion - Christina Hammer of Germany and Claressa Shields. Anyway, I don't think that the time will come for a woman fighter to face a male fighter in the ring.
