Is it out of fear because Trump is coming into office that Meta is ending its Fact Checks? I mean, the Fact Checks were usually WRONG anyway? And no one had a way to even let them know that they were wrong and show proof.

I don't know if it has something to do with Trump taking office soon, but I will say their moderation is a joke and I wonder if this will help it. Maybe it will a little, but probably not much. At least with X's fact checks, users can chime in and show proof so it was much better than Facebook's checks.
I once got a fact check strike because I posted a reel to my story about how roundabouts were causing tornadoes to happen.

If Meta truly thought I was spreading that rumor like it was real, then they only hire insane fact checkers...

The only social media I use other than forums is Whatsapp so I'm probably out of touch but since when did posting a picture of your breakfast or your favourite pet need fact checking anyway?
Although I block it, I have noticed that legitimate news outlets have started to embed social media in recent times. Perhaps they will stop doing that now and let journalists do the reporting.
