Hello!

Over the past few weeks, we have been working on a new type of review. We've now decided that we're ready to give this new type of review a try!

The Meticulous Review

A Meticulous Review is an extremely thorough review of your website. When you request it, two reviewers will create accounts on your forum, and participate as members of your forum for a week. After the week is over, the two reviewers will discuss their experience on your forum with each other, and come up with two separate reviews which are done using a long, 9-category template which is used exclusively for a Meticulous Review. Categories assessed include First Impressions, Design Quality, Site Statistics, Staff Professionalism, Originality, Site Structure, Grammar & Spelling, Community Interaction, and Content Value.

This price for this new review is 2,500 FP$. It is a steep price, but if you can afford it, this is the best review which the Editorial Team is able to offer, and is something that would greatly benefit your website.

Requirements for a meticulous review...

  • Your website must have a forum.
  • The forum must have 1,000 posts or more.
  • You must have 2,500 FP$ on hand.
Note: FP$ will be deducted upfront. If none of our current review team feels comfortable reviewing forums of your genre, we may reject your request, as we only want to provide a review as detailed as this one for types of websites we feel confident reviewing.

Rewards for a 5-Star Review

As of today, if you request a review and receive a rating of five stars, you will receive the following benefits:

  • Your website will be listed permanently in the Review Hall of Fame.
  • The review is provided free of charge.
  • The topic is pinned for 1 week.
  • The topic receives "Featured" tag for 1 month.
  • The request receives a 1 month link on the blog homepage.
  • The forum's thread in the promotion directory will be pinned for 1 month.
  • The forum will receive a free Text Ad and Featured Site service voucher.
  • The Editorial Team will write an article about your website for the FP Blog.
If you receive a 10/10 rating from a meticulous review, then first of all, congratulations! Second of all, you will receive the following benefits.

  • Your website will be listed permanently in the Review Hall of Fame.
  • The review is provided free of charge.
  • The topic is pinned for three months in Community Reviews.
  • The topic receives "Featured" tag for 6 months.
  • The request receives a 6 month link on the blog homepage.
  • The forum's thread in the promotion directory will be pinned for 6 months.
  • The forum will receive three service vouchers each for Text Ads, Featured Site, & Social Ads.
  • The Editorial Team will write an article about your website for the FP Blog.
4-Star reviews (both advanced and standard) will also be listed on the Review Hall of Fame thread.

Upgrade Price Drops

We have decreased the prices on several of the Community Review upgrades, including the featured prefix and pinning your topic.

In Conclusion

You can now request a meticulous review by creating a new topic in Community Reviews, or by visiting the Review Service Upgrades thread, if you already have a topic in the section.
