Michael Shumacher (F1 Racer) is currently fighting for his life after an head injury he sustained in a ski accident.

"SEVEN-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher is being watched around the clock by doctors and his family who have maintained a bedside vigil as he continues to fight for his life following a skiing accident.

But medicos say the next 48 hours will determine the racing legend's future, including if emergency surgery has saved his life or if he has suffered any long-term damage.

The 44-year-old German remains in an induced coma in a critical condition after he suffered internal bleeding and severe bruising to the brain when his head struck a rock during a high-speed off-piste ski run in the French Alps."

Sounds really scary! 🙁 Here's hoping he can pull through!

That's been a big deal where I live (Indianapolis) because the IMS (Indianapolis Motor Speedway) hosts a Formula 1 race every year I think.

Hope he recovers!

I was really shocked and saddened to hear this awful news.

I wish him and his family all the best, and just hope that being a big fighter he will overcome this awful trouble of his health.

...And for all those of you who are planning to go skiing, you need to be super careful, as really bad accidents can happen.

Enjoy yourself, but be careful.

Hopefully, he recovers.

I was shocked by the news as well because I never would of expected Michael Shumacher to be involve in a skiing accident involving him crashing his head into a rock.

Yep Froggy, years and year around a race track taking actual risks and then injured skiing.
He is stable, but still critical last I heard.
