Hey all!

We have a few updates to announce today. These include changes to the index, and news regarding Site Awards and Team Posting contests!


NEW! Simpler Forum Index

On July 22nd, we announced a few changes to the forum index. This included merging two discussion sections together, and moving New to FP to the general discussion category. Today, we have a few additional changes to make, and we hope you will find them useful! Here is a quick look at the changes.

  • Forum Software & Extensions is now a subforum of Forum & Website Management
  • The Member to Member and Marketplace categories have been merged
  • Technical Support is now a subforum under Managing Online Forums & Websites
We're always trying to improve the index to make it easier to use. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to make them!


NEW! Site Awards Voting & Team Posting Contest

Yesterday, the Site Awards nomination round concluded. You can now find the voting round thread as a global announcement. Here is a link!

Also, today marks the end of the first week of the Team Posting Contest. Here are the rankings for this week!

  • Corps of Flugel (Migi): 801 posts -- Winner
  • Legion of Chaos (Cosmic): 479 posts -- Runner-Up
  • Dark Brotherhood (Twisted Fairytale): 352 posts
  • Master's Slaves (MasterA): 287 posts
Congratulations to Migi, gamertoenjoy, Teapot, Tagobs, kingcool52, Thomasss, House, mindlock, and Platipoo! Their team will receive five points.

Week Two:

Liking the changes and continued updates, before the new version of FP it was something that this forum was massively missing.

Lately we have been trying to figure out the best layout for the forum. As bland and boring as they are, it is interesting for me at least to see if this new update helps people as we intended or not. And for members who are participating in the posting contest, nothing is more exciting than to be announced as the winner of the first week, isn't it? Thank you for reading anyway! 🙂
