Might close down ForumPoster

Hi guys.

Im thinking of closing forumposter. I just can find any package staff and with out them my forums nothing.

We have pretty decent stats, but honestly im struggling!

Please give sggestions and help

Your forum had a clever idea. But, I kinda knew it was going to be a struggle to operate in the long run. Your staff have two requirements ... post on your forum; and on other members forums. and, I'm not sure if that is a very rewarding staff position, to be honest.

Hope you do find a way out of it, though. Hate to see ya have to close it down.

I don't blame you for wanting to close it.

To be quite honest the idea just doesn't work if you ask me.
Not a lot of people will want to be staff because they aren't really getting rewarded, just posting on peoples websites..

If I were you, I'd do a revamp of the entire forum and charge money.

My idea was to put up some paid ads on the site, and maybe force the package requesters to do some sort of paid clicking program, then pay the staff with the money earned from such. Feel free to use it if you'd like 😛

Yeah, it would be really beneficial... so much for your comments about promotion related forums being dead.

I agree with Irviding, i think you should do a massive overhaul on your forum. Then when you re-open it charge money, even if its small amounts if your getting a good rep, and have good posts from the staff there is no reason why people wouldnt pay you. Then just pay your staff small amounts out of total for a month.

Im not sure how much money people would pay though when you can just get free packages on FP and FA

We only offer small packages. If they offer large packages then they may attract more people. Not many people offer large packages for free so there won't be much competition from free sites.

I agree with those who say you should do an overhaul provided you have the time to put into it. You should charge a fee but not too high a fee, find some very good and reliable staff to handle the posting packages and pay them a small fee. You should also put up some google ads and a link for accepting donations to bring in more revenue.

Charge like 5-10 cents per post, and discounted when they buy bigger packages

500- £5

1000-8.50

Would this work?
Because some website packages say 1000 posts for about 100 pounds!

No, it wouldn't.

That's too little to be honest. You should charge a bit more, because your posters that work for you aren't going to be making quality posts and your rep will be poor.

I'd say do 100 posts for about 3 pounds or so, then 200 for about 5 pounds, 500 for about 7 pounds, 1000 for say 10 pounds.
