You've seen Minecraft's Xbox 360 trailer, now see a dozen of its screenshots. Two of them showcase what will be "an innovative new crafting interface," according to a fact sheet from Microsoft.

"A streamlined interface opens at the press of a button, and players can choose from several categories of items to create," says the statement. "Minecraft on Xbox 360 explains what each object is, what it does and what is required for building so players new to the world of Minecraft can get into the action right away. Minecraft on Xbox 360 removes the barriers between you and your creativity!"

It's just 1 more way for Mojang to make money, seeing as it's going to only cost like 20 bucks I think it's an excellent business strategy. Plus a LOT of people have already decided they are going to get it, so why not take the opportunity to get rich?

They said once sales have gone down, Minecraft will be open source.

Yes but people are still buying it. Just watch http://www.minecraft.net/ and look at the counter, if you are there for five minutes you will see 5 more purchases at least.

So it will be a while until it's open source, though it will be awesome once it does.

Yeah, I'm just saying when it finally does die down it'll be awesome.

If I owned minecraft, I would release it to game systems too.. But only for the money. I personally think that minecraft is best suited for PC.
