Awww yes a Minecraft thread .

I love the game. Been playing since infdev (pre-alpha release) and its been a blast. I love it so much I ended up making it my occupation..

If anyones reading this wondering if its worth the money, if you like survival games or sandbox games, you'll love it. Create your own worlds, create your own machines, create your own games.. its a really fun way to put your ideas into 3d models or just to play as an explorer. The possibilities are endless.

I play occasionally though Vanilla get's boring after a while and I find myself playing Tekkit or FTB. And every now and then I'll setup a server for a few people to play on if we have nothing better to do.

Recently the updates seem to be focusing more on features for map makers rather than improving actual gameplay and giving it more of a challenge. Hopefully some better additions are ahead for Minecraft that are more player-focused.

I like Minecraft; I also tend to play in creative mode and just make things all day until my finger starts hurting... XD

I think Minecraft is only fun when you play it with a group of friends. Else it is just picking up blocks somewhere and then dropping them elsewhere. Well, actually that is the essence of the game, but at least with friends it is a lot more fun. Also plugins are essential I think. They add a bit more competitive elements to the game.

Also this. This is the only reason why I am not gonna buy minecraft at all. I'd buy it, play with friends a few times, and they 'get bored' or just not interested.

How do the mods work?

Put them In your mods Folder, on the startmenu search %appdata% then go to .minecraft/mods. Put mods there.

Just ask for help.
