The layout/simplicity of its features is definitely a common thing to see among new software. I would like to think its a trend but I sort of think it's because it is just easier than developing and designing a complex system. I do kind of like it, though.
The design is great and all but what about the mods?
There is only one mod :S
But the themes look good and with all the feature that it has already, I see huge potential written all over it. I wish I could code right now XD
Edit: I read more into it and I decided that my next forum will be created using this software.
Nice find, it does indeed look good. First impressions I get a mix between MyBB (a theme matches this quite closely) with some elements of Xenforo in there.
This seriously looks so much like NodeBB, but I suppose it's something that's common in most of the newer softwares.
It seems nice, not really a fan of the whole sidebar thing. I prefer my forums to be full width but that's just me. 😛
What I DO like is the fact that it has boards, and not this giant long list of threads right when you visit, like Discourse does. If they stick to the normal list view that forums have, I think I might just try it out once it's stable.
