What does everyone think about the missing Titan submersible?

I feel awful for the crew onboard - I hate being in cramped spaces, so being lost at sea for over 72hrs is my literal worst nightmare.

Ya, this sounds like a terrible experience and now does not seem like it will have a good ending at this point.

It's like they have 15 hours left as I type and they say that they heard SOS noise but still can't able to find them

It's a very sad situation. Hopefully they find it before it's too late. There's been a lot of talk about safety concerns regarding this vessel and this company, and you have to think there will be some regulatory changes occurring regarding these commercial expeditions in the future.

With all our technology, you'd think we'd have better systems in place. I hope they are found.

They found a debris field, but haven't clarified if it's the Titanic debris field that separates the two sections of the ship, or if it's the submersible.

they confirmed it this morning 🙁 as they found heaps of debris that confirmed it was.

It's sad, but they're saying they didn't even know that it was happening because it was so fast.

Shame that they have taken this long to find out that they are always dead, dead in no time at all. Also, the Britz and France had better technoagley to able to find them allot faster and yet they had a red flag to stand down.

I had been following this since they launched to head toward the Titanic. I was shocked and saddened when I heard that they had found debris and then announced that the lives were lost.

My thoughts are with their families and friends and I hope they take comfort in knowing that they didn't suffer.

They think they've found remains of the humans.

I think the CEO that brought them down there needs to be shamed or something. He knew it was dangerous and even publicly stated he 'breaks rules' to build it. He murdered those 4 other people on board. He even fired an employee that told him it wasn't safe too. Disgusting.

I agree with you. I guess there are egos that don't care about what happens to others.

They released pictures of the remains of the submersible today.
