Mission Impossible

It used to be a popular tv series until it was made into a movie. Starring Tom Cruise as the government agent Ethan Hunt, the story has a twist that made Ethan a murder suspect of his associate Jim Phelphs played by Jon Voight. Directed by Brian De Palma, it is a success in the box office mainly because of the action scenes that are entertaining. But the story is not very convincing unless you stick to the title that impossible things can really happen.

I kind of gave up on this franchise after part 3. In which I attended the NYC premiere with a few friends and family members years ago. I kind of out grew it. I do plan on catching up on the new sequels though soon.
