So more often than not, because I smile a lot and am usually in a good mood or if I talk to them, men would tend to think that I'm into them and etc. And I just wanted to say that because I'm smiling, I'm not necessarily smiling at you. But because I'm an asexual, I don't go looking for these signs at all personally.

Eh, I get that a lot. I'm outgoing and like to engage people, and everyone calls me a flirt. Okay, so be it. I do like people in general, and have a preference for the opposite sex, so...sure, why not?

It happens a ton, regardless of gender. There will always be people who want to talk, and think that even the slightest phrase, somehow shows interest. I just go with the flow or leave the conversation, depending on who I am with.

Here is one thing to think about. Perhaps they think you're a wonderful person when they talk to you and they want to be apart of that. They see this person who is happy & positive and some men find that to be an attractive quality. And when you're around someone who is funny, makes you laugh, smiles all of the time. It tends to lighten your mood as well. Positivity begets positivity.
