Your Quick Review
Pros:
- Your forum has such a simple useful thing that too many forums seem to lack - a favicon. A lot of forums have the generic ones, but yours actually goes with your forum. That allows people to catch your site easily in web history, favorites, etc.
- I like how your board wasn't filled with off-topic forums. A lot of forums have tons of general discussion forums in hoping tons of people will join. Glad to see yours wasn't like that. Having a bunch of forums like that deviates from the point too much.
- For a month, 1K posts is really good. Some forums after a few months don't even have that, however look in the Cons section for a problem with this. However, your your activity was undeniably fine.
- Your staff members were very active. I would watch the amount of staff you hire though, don't want to get overstaffed.
Cons:
-Your skin is too generic. I cannot tell you how many forums I've seen with either that exact skin or a similar one. You should try to get a more original one, or customize the read/unread icons more.
- Your banner is OK, but like, what does it have to do with MMORPGs? It looks just sort of random, it could definitely be adjusted to fit in more with an MMORPG theme. It would look better.
- Some of your spelling/grammar could be improved. For example, "Post anytime that has to do with T.V./Music/videos/etc. here! but keep it clean!" should be, "Post anytime that has to do with T.V./music/videos/etc. here, but keep it clean!" Just take a look at your forum descriptions.
- You and your staff have almost all the posts around the forums. I'm not saying stop posting, I'm glad you're active and all, but it can intimidate newcomers. Maybe doing some post exchanges so you can get actual members posts.
- Your layout is sort of random. Why are the general forums on the top? They should go on the bottom so they don't seem like the most important forums. The introduction forum is down by itself. Why is that? I would rearrange your forums.
