How to make a mobile version of XenForo, so like m.example.com where advertising displays at a smaller scale as well the forum without responsive templates? YouTube has mobile version is this possible on XenForo?

I think Xenofo is already compatible with mobile devices. You can use xenforo communities with ease on mobile phones and tablets.

Xenforo is mobile friendly out of the box, but I'm assuming you're wanting an app like Tapatalk for your forum. I don't think Xenforo offers that, however you could use a Progressive Web App to allow notifications to pop up on your mobile device, though non Chromium based browsers aren't 100% compatible with PWAs. That is, if you're wanting to get notifications on your phone.

Well if you use the default theme but some of the paid themes are not mobile compatible. This is especially the case if you don’t optimise you’re advertisement placements for mobile which could cause them to stretch when viewing on a phone.
