Mockingjay Part 2 - Are you ready???

If I can convince my family to watch it on the 20th, I would. We'd probably have to watch it on the weekend since my dad works on Friday, but I mean seriously, the 20th needs to hurry up and get here, and hopefully no one dies and the movie ends on a rather good note...hopefully....
Interesting that you're planning to watch it with the whole family! Do they all like this series?

Only open if you don't mind getting yourself spoiled. This applies to everyone.
I suggest not to hope too much.

That was a terrible Spoiler Phio! 😛

I probably won't be catching the premier just because I don't enjoy sharing the movie theatre with tons of people. (There are always that group of people it seems that has to comment on everything.)

My husband and I typically like to go when it's either really early or really late when there are no rowdy kids or teenagers about. haha

I am DEFINITELY looking forward to seeing it. It's actually bittersweet because yes it's finally here and also sad because it's the last movie. ...a part of me fantasizes that they will coordinate with Suzanne Collins and continue the story.

LOL, is that a good terrible or bad terrible?

I can understand what you mean. Though I doubt it may happen with Mockingjay; I mean the boys are wonderful indeed but the atmosphere of this one is too dark to be screaming happily. I don't know if Korean culture (songs, food, drama, movies) are popular there, but I went to a Korean movie showing once and there was constant screaming for like, 2 hours, every time someone's idol's face popped out on the screen. xD

I went to see the movie, and enjoyed it. 🙂

The only thing I hated, was how it ended. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, since I haven't read it, and don't know how the book ended.

I went to see it and was not that impressed. I think they could have done better with the ending.

I'll be seeing it sometime next week I think? Yeah, I cannot wait. I love the Hunger Games series, I'm kinda sad it's the end of the series though.

Open only when you don't mind being spoiled.
As far as I remember, small details aside, that is indeed the ending of the book. It sure is not satisfying in a sense. So many deaths and painful moments. But I'm glad at least Katniss and Peeta found peace in their simple life.

Watch it ASAP! Can't wait to discuss it with ya. 😉

I saw it yesterday. It's more or less like what I had in my mind when I was reading the book, so I didn't really have complaints. I guess I prefer them to make it more like the book, but that's forgiven.

Oh.
My.
God.

I am not sure how I feel about the ending... 😵

The rest of the movie was awesome, I just wish I saw more of what happened after the "incident" rather than what they put in the end. 😛

but I mean, oh my. Amazing movie nonetheless.

Loved it! So much better than Part 1 in my opinion. They really nailed a few scenes from the book too ^_^

I agree! I enjoyed it a lot as well, it put my imagination into reality. 😛

Oh my goodness I STILL have yet to see this movie. That's it, I've got to convince my husband to go watch it with me TONIGHT. lol He keeps saying I can't see it without him but he clearly isn't making it priority. Time to put my foot down. I haven't read the other replies to this thread just in case I see any spoilers. lol

Edit:
FINALLY saw this! Such a bittersweet moment... I'm glad I finally got to see the movie...but now sad at the same time it's over. I have a sudden to reread the books again...I don't remember some things happening while watching the movie! lol
