Mod Help

Hi there!

I have just opened up a own hosted phpbb3 forum. I have downloaded some mods I really want in the forum, but I have no idea how I do it? Can anyone help me? Ive downloaded a cash & shop mod, mood mod and reputation mod thingy. Is there anyone that can help me install them?

Well this is a big job installing a mod.

First of all back up ALL phpbb files then start.

Open up the mod you want added and find the .xml file. Open it with whatever you want *Default IE*. Follow the instructions and installing it may be a snap. Sorry, couldent go more in depth. Good luck :great:

Well... it looks really hard!

if your hosting peoples forums shouldn't you at least be able to install mods?

Im new to this uploading myself... but have been working with phpbb free hosts (FreeForums.org) for a year!

There's your mistake. Freeforums.org don't let you do absoloutely anything with your board. Anyways i wrote a small tip on another topic that should help you install them, just gimme a few minutes and ill find it for you.
