There are 100 or 1000s mods. What types of mods are you looking?
Instead asking for mod suggestion check out phpbb forums and ask here question what features/mods you like to have, so people here can help you out by giving its mods/editing details.

I am just trying to find some that will help make my site look better and help it grow a bit more. Something that will help it out.

Maybe if you told us what your genre is? One can only assume it's a promotion forum, however assumptions aren't facts.. Also what forum software your running would help.

You are really the only one who can pick what mods you want, it's up to you how you want your forum to run.

The site that I am running is a PhpBB forum

Well have a think about how you want your site to function and what features you want and look for a mod based on those. It's hard to get ideas from other people.

Although even if you just look through the mod DB @ phpBB.com you'll find some good ones that you might not know exist.
