Moderating Political Posts in Online Communities?

I think some people can hold their cool on the matter. However, then again, even those people cannot operate in highly biased forums. Also, in some forums, people don't like the "wild and crazy" so they cannot handle even slightly bold political statements.
You raised a very good topic here. Political posts should be well moderated and regulated to avoid people posting unverified information that could cause mayhem or political unrest in the affected communities to a forum where it can be seen by thousands of members.
