What does your moderating protocol look like for your forum? Do you give out multiple or few warnings/infractions before banning? Are you quick to ban or do you try to keep members around for as long as possible if you need the activity?

What action is taken usually depends on the what is going on. If it's a minor infraction, usually the person just gets a friendly reminder via the PM system. If it's something bad, like they're trolling, then it's at the very lease a suspension. If they person continues the trolling, then it's a permanent ban.
Do you have a regulated system posted on your board?
Also, do you do allow for members to appeal the suspension?
