Who uses color+bold when locking topics and editing topics etc?

I do when i edit posts most of the time just so people know what was edited and by who.

I use it only for support type forums that I am a mod or a admin on.

Personally I think it looks unprofessional and like the moderator is trying to make a point that they have some kind of special power.

Best thing to do when locking a topic is explain why it's locked and close the topic with a smile, or if editing a topic just type something into the "Reason for editing:" box ~smile~

I usually just close the topic. =/ I may reply or edit to state why.

When editing, I usually state if I've edited it and why.

I usually use bold for particular points. I don't usually like to use colors, although I remember one time I used bright red when something was particularly important.

Yeah I use it when editing posts, titles, or just forums in general.
