I am not sure how many softwares have "custom moderator tools" however if you don't know here's what they are:
On our forum we use them to mark topics as "Bugs" which creates a copy of the thread into our bug database for developers to look at on another day, and several other features. :3 It's pretty helpful so you don't stand there doing multiple moderator actions, now we just do it on one click and it's done. 😀
For those on MyBB, do you use moderator tools? And for those that don't have this feature, do you guys think it would be a nice addition to your software?
MyBB Documents said:MyBB offers and advanced set of thread and post moderation option known as custom moderator tools. These custom mod tools are essentially moderation macros, allowing you to define a number of actions to be performed at once. Mod tools are used just like all included moderation actions: from both individual thread moderation and inline moderation. Mod tools can even be defined to only be allowed on certain forums, giving you the ability to create an advanced set of tools specific to your board.
