I am hearing several vaccines that are popular in health centers here. The government has a campaign for flu vaccine and also vaccine for pneumonia and there's one vaccine that prevents cancer in the reproductive system. However, there was an incident that took away my belief in those vaccines. My 25-year old niece was given a vaccine against pneumonia. It was even administered by her father who is a physician. But after 3 months, my niece was afflicted by pneumonia which confined her in the hospital for 9 days. Until now my brother-in-law cannot explain about that failed vaccine.

There are certain vaccines that most people should actively get regardless of health and immunity, the flu shot being one of them. While I believe that getting vaccines can be good for you, I think that like with eating and drinking different things, one should be mindful of the type of vaccine, and decide whether or not one should get it or have a child get it.
Erm, the only vaccination against pneumonia we have for now is that caused by H.influenzae. Unfortunately, there are at least 25 different major bacteria (apart from GOD KNOWS HOW MANY viruses and parasites) that causes pneumonia. So, the vaccine has not failed, you just had a pneumonia caused by something else 🙁
